Parent unit setup
  1. Charging the parent unit fully before use is recommended. This wlll allow the unit to operate on battery power in the event of a power failure.
  2. Connect the USB plug of the power adapter to the parent unit and the other end to a mains power socket.
(NOTE: Only use the power adaptor provided)
The charging LED will illuminate to show that the unit is charging the battery.
  3. Move the toggle switch on the side of the camera to the ON position. The welcome screen will show briefly and the start-up tune will play.
Positioning the camera
  • The camera and monitor are already paired, switch on the camera first and when you switch on the monitor it will automatically try to connect. Do this close to the camera when setting up for the first time so that you can adjust and check the viewing angle.
  • Being too close (less than about 1.5m) will cause a high-pitched feedback noise so you might want to have the volume down while you do this.
  • Once you have completed the set up, you can then move the monitor away. The signal will reach up to 260metres with line of sight and up to 50m indoors. Thick walls or obstructions will reduce this distance so for the best reception, avoid placing the camera or monitor close to electrical equipment, in alcoves or behind heavy furniture etc. It’s worth spending a little bit of time finding the best locations when you first set up the system.
  • Place the (camera) baby unit in a convenient location and point the camera lens towards the area you want to monitor. Adjust the baby unit until you are satisfied with the image you can see in the parent unit.
  • Avoid positioning the camera on a reflective surface or close to a light source as this can interfere with the night vision function.
    NB.
Do not place the baby unit within the baby's reach!
Pairing the camera and screen

The enclosed baby unit has already been registered, you do not need to register it again unless the baby unit loses its link with the parent unit or you wish to pair it with a second camera. This monitor can support up to two cameras.

In the main menu when the camera icon is selected, press the OK key to enter the pairing screen, press OK again and you will be asked if you wish to re-register the camera, press OK then push the pair key on the back of the camera (baby unit) within 10 seconds.
The parent unit screen will display a message telling you that the camera has successfully registered.
